Searching for sunshine and the warmth of spring, anyone else? 🙋🏼‍♀️

I added a little glow to my Sunday by making these naturally sweetened turmeric bars full of healthy fat from coconut butter and anti-inflammatory power from the bright yellow turmeric. Adapted from @unboundwellness to include crystallized ginger. Ingredients below!

Turmeric Glow Bars

Crust:
*1 C shredded coconut
*1 heaping C dates
*1 T coconut oil
*1 tsp cinnamon

Filling:
*1 1/4 C coconut butter (found it by the nut butters in my grocery store)
*1/2 C coconut oil
*1 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
*1 tsp cinnamon
*1/8 tsp black pepper *2 tsp maple (omit if Whole30)
*candied ginger for topping (optional to add to the filling for even more kick)
